English Language Challenges
Hi everyone, today I’m going to speak about my
learning experience in the English program at the university. In first place, I
would like to talk about some benefits of having classes of English in this
program. One of them is that, because of the teaching methods I could practice
listening, written, reading, and speaking, and this could make stronger my
capacity to understand and express the English. Another benefit I identify of
my experience at the English program is that, because of the different themes
seen in classes, I became wiser about, the English literary culture of the
Caribbean and South America, and about popular culture, like the life of some
writers or singers. I think the policy of use the English 100% of the time was
a good measure, definitely it is a way to turn more agile in speaking. Around
the blogs I can said that there are an effective exercise to progress in
writing. About the aspects of my English who have to be improved, I can
identify my capacity of speaking as the weaker. My plan to improve it, is to speak
in English with other people when I have the opportunity and watch English
videos or films with subtitles in English. Also I think a good idea to do an
English course in my next future. Outside of the English class I didn’t use a
lot the English at these days, just some time I listen music and a read short
texts in English. Well, that’s all thank for your time.

Hi Vicente! I believe that the policy of use 100% English was really helpful to left the fear to talk in English, even when sometimes it was difficult to express ourselves in English, it was a really good method too.
